Gideon Achile Attah, born on September 27, 1995, is a rapidly growing Afrobeats musician within the Nigerian music industry. Known professionally as Son Of Attah, he is a talented songwriter and singer. He began his career in 2013 with his debut single “Be Painstaking” and released his EP titled “Don Jazzy Said He Can’t Sign Me” on September 10, 2020. Affiliated with SOA Records and managed by Green Panther Management, Son Of Attah is gaining popularity for his unique style and songwriting skills.

Early Life

Son Of Attah was born to Mr. and Mrs. Attah in Rayfield, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, on October 27, 1995. He hails from Kogi State and is the fourth child in his family. Raised in a Christian household, he developed a passion for music at a young age and began singing in the church choir and participating in church drama performances.


Son Of Attah completed his First School Leaving Certificate and West African School Certificate in Jos. He later graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

In 2019, he attended culinary school to learn mixology and now offers his mixology services in Lagos City when he is not making music. He looks up to artists like The Weeknd, J. Cole, Kanye West, Drake, Fela Kuti, and others as his role models.
